Derek Hutchinson's Schedule

Since we schedule some of Derek's clinics, lectures and events and work so closely with him, we have created this page so people can keep up with him and his busy schedule. Contact USK if you would like to schedule a clinic or talk with Derek Hutchinson.

Over the last few years Derek has undergone two major surgeries that have affected his frequesnt visits here to the US. Derek is doing well and keeping very active with his artwork, projects and writings. I get a chance to visit him once a year. I am going again in August of 2010 to record an interview with Derek about the modern history of sea kayaking, from his perspective. We are also planning on doing a short day paddle if we can squeeze it in.

For the time being, I will keep TBA on the schedule for the day when Derek will once again visit here and offer a clinic. We are hoping Derek will be back on the road for the 2011 season.
