USK Schedule

Hello to the new comers and welcome back to our alumni. It is April 11th and we are still adding to our schedule for the season. Our schedule includes clinics, symposia and trade shows. We have included links to get more information regarding the specific events. We hope to see many of our alumni while we are at these events.
It has taken us almost three years for Hadley, me and the kids (our dogs Elton & Carlie) to get settled into our new home just north of Seattle. Prior to my retirement from UCSB in 2005, I had a master plan to have my "In Depth" Instructional Videos Series completed by now. Taking an early retirement and moving from Santa Barbara altered the master plan. However, I am presently writing new scripts and we will be out filming in the next few weeks. Our schedule is not as packed as in the past two years, because 2008 will find a good deal of our energy being put into producing more instructional videos, as requested by all of our alumni. Since I still love to teach I will try to find a happy balance between instruction and video production.
In addition to our "In Depth" Instructional Video Series, we have now completed the first video in our new "Paddle Series" called "Paddle Hawaii, Kaua'i Day Tours". Our new series are video guidebooks. Visit the USK Paddle Series page for more details.
We are still teaching all around the country. If your kayaking club or friends would like a specialty clinic or private lessons in your area, please contact us via e-mail or give us a call at 425-741-0960.
We will have a USK booth at the events with an (*), so please come by and say hello to Hadley and Wayne. We welcome your sea kayaking education questions or tell us about your recent paddling adventures.
